The Role
We are seeking a CIMA Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions across multiple P&Ls within the group. You’ll ensure accurate reporting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and work closely with senior management to drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the group
- Monthly analysis and reporting of financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Assisting with budgeting, quarterly forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of additional financial information to support decision making and business anaylsis
- Implementing and improving financial processes and controls
- Preparation of weekly Cash Flow forecasts
The Ideal Candidate
- CIMA Qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment with multiple P&Ls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or similar sector would be advantageous
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
