The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations of our group. This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple entities, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Cashflow
- Assist with preparation and management of group and entity-level cashflows
- Support weekly and month-end reporting processes
- Analyse financial data to support business decisions
Reconciliations & Controls
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations across group companies
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process employee expenses
- Support payroll-related accounting, including PAYE journals
Invoicing & Intercompany
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany invoices
- Maintain intercompany accounting records and matrices
- Manage subcontractor and specialist invoicing
Month-End & General Support
- Assist with month-end reporting and documentation
- Provide support on ad-hoc finance tasks and projects
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and accounting processes
- Good Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Full right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience working in a multi-entity or group structure
- Exposure to intercompany accounting
